We invite you to take time to visit Heritage Corner - one of Columbus' premier resources for interdisciplinary and hands-on education. The house museums highlight most of the major themes of Columbus studies and much of American history. Our goal is to help students explore the many diverse stories about the past, encouraging hands-on interdisciplinary study for all grade levels.

Located in the heart of the Columbus Original City Historic District, Heritage Corner includes the c. 1800 Traders' Log Cabin, the Oldest House in Columbus - the 1828 Walker-Peters-Langdon House, Gardens and Slave Cabin, the Pemberton House - town home of John Pemberton, inventor of Coca-Cola, Woodruff Farm House, and the c. 1870 Italianate Townhouse.

During the 2007-2008 academic year, we are offering a variety of special tours and programs. All of our school programs focus on specific social studies themes and exhibitions. We look forward to seeing you and your students for hands-on history soon.
